Francesco Comande (16th century) was an Italian painter of aRenaissance style, born and active inMessina,Sicily.
He was a pupil ofDeodato Guinaccia.[1] His brotherSimone Comande, born in 1588, was also a painter, and collaborated with his brother. Their styles differed with Simone having a style more influenced by theVenetian school. Simone painted aMartyrdom of St Bartholemew in Messina, and anAdoration of the Magi for the monastery ofBasicò.
