Forcola is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Sondrio in theItalian regionLombardy, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast ofMilan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) west ofSondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 870 and an area of 15.7 square kilometres (6.1 sq mi).[3]

Forcola borders the following municipalities:Ardenno,Buglio in Monte,Colorina,Fusine,Talamona,Tartano, Sirta.
