Fodice is anunincorporated community inHouston County,Texas, United States.[1] According to theHandbook of Texas, the community had a population of 49 in 2000.[2]
Fodice is located onU.S. Highway 287 at the intersection of Fodice Road andFarm to Market Road 4200, 4 mi (6.4 km) west ofPennington and 14 mi (23 km) southeast ofCrockett in southern Houston County.[3]
Fodice had its own school in 1886 and continued to operate in the mid-1930s. It closed sometime afterWorld War II.[2] Today, the community is served by theGroveton Independent School District.
