Focker In-Law is an upcoming Americancomedy film written and directed byJohn Hamburg.Robert De Niro,Ben Stiller,Owen Wilson,Blythe Danner, andTeri Polo will reprise their roles from theMeet the Parents franchise, withAriana Grande,Skyler Gisondo,Beanie Feldstein andEduardo Franco joining the cast. Hamburg, co-writer of the previous three films, takes over as director fromPaul Weitz (Weitz directedLittle Fockers;Jay Roach directedMeet the Parents andMeet the Fockers).
The film is scheduled to be released on November 25, 2026.
In December 2024, a new film in theMeet the Parents franchise was reported to be in development atUniversal Pictures.John Hamburg was set to write the script, whileRobert De Niro,Ben Stiller,Teri Polo, andBlythe Danner are negotiating to reprise their roles from the previous films.[1]
In March 2025,John Hamburg was confirmed to be writing and directing the film. The cast was confirmed to reprise their roles as well.[2] In May 2025,Ariana Grande joined the cast.[3]
In June 2025, it was announced thatParamount Pictures, co-financier and the international distributor ofLittle Fockers (2010), would co-produce the film.[4] Later that month,Owen Wilson joined the cast, reprising his role as Kevin Rawley.[5] In late July,Skyler Gisondo was in talks to join the film.[6] Later that month, it was announced that the film had been titledFocker In-Law, with Gisondo confirmed to be joining the cast alongsideBeanie Feldstein.[7] In November 2025, it was revealed thatEduardo Franco was a part of the cast.[8]
Principal photography began inNew York City on August 18, 2025, andwrapped on November 1.[9][10][11]
Focker In-Law is scheduled to be released in the United States byUniversal Pictures on November 25, 2026, and internationally byParamount Pictures.[3]
