Flucindole (INNTooltip International Nonproprietary Name,USANTooltip United States Adopted Name; developmental code nameWIN-35150) is anantipsychotic of thetetrahydrocarbazolamine family with atricycliccyclized tryptaminestructure that was never marketed.[1][2] It is the 6,8-difluoroderivative ofciclindole.[3] The drug is about 5 to 10 times morepotent than ciclindole bothin vitro andin vivo.[2]
