Flóra Kádár (Hungarian:[ˈfloːrɒˈkaːdaːr]; 4 August 1928 – 3 January 2003) was a Hungarian actress. She was known for her roles ofMrs. Hackl in the filmSunshine,Redl's sister in the filmColonel Redl, andErzsi, Jóska's wife in the filmAdoption.
Her father was teacher Lajos Horcsák and her mother was Flóra Ohr who got married on 28 December 1926 inSzékesfehérvár.[1] Flóra Kádár's husband wasDOP andphotojournalistPéter Fischer, the elder brother of pianist and conductorGyörgy Fischer.[2] György Fischer's first wife was opera singerLucia Popp.[3] After being divorced from Popp he married American violinistIda Bieler.[4]
She took a degree at theAcademy of Drama and Film in Budapest in 1953. She played at theNational Theatre of Szeged,Kisfaludy Theatre inGyőr and Madách Theatre inBudapest.
