Fernando Harry Álvez Mosquera (born September 4, 1959 inMontevideo) is a Uruguayan formerfootballer who played as agoalkeeper for theUruguay national team and several clubs in Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.[1]

Álvez obtained 40 caps for theUruguay national team. Having made his debut on July 18, 1980 in a friendly against Peru (0-0), Álvez was a member of the1986 and1990 FIFA World Cup teams.
