Felinology[a] is thestudy ofcats.[1] The term is ofLatin-Greek origin and comes from the Latin wordfelinus (of cats, feline) and the Greek-logos (science). Felinology is concerned with studying theanatomy,genetics,physiology, andbreeding of domestic and wild cats.
