Fazakerley East ward is an electoral district ofLiverpool City Council within theLiverpool Walton constituency.

Theward was created for the elections held on 4 May 2023 following a 2022 review by theLocal Government Boundary Commission for England, which decided that the previous 30 wards each represented by three Councillors should be replaced by 64 wards represented by 85 councillors with varying representation by one, two or three councillors per ward. The Fazakerley East ward was created as a single-member ward from the eastern half of the formerFazakerley ward.[1]

The ward boundaries follow the Kirkby branch of theNorthern Line, Longmoor Lane, Lower Lane, theEast Lancashire Road, Knowsley Book, theRiver Alt, Bridgehouse Lane, Aintree Lane and Sherwood's Lane.[1]

The population of the ward at the2021 census was 5,916.[2]
