Farhad Ebrahimi (Persian:فرهاد ابراهیمی کورعباسلو, bornRajab EbrahimiPersian:رجب ابراهیمی کورعباسلو, 1935[1] – 9 February 2019)[2] was an Iranian poet, writer, and songwriter ofthe Iranian azari style music. His most important work is the lyrics toAyrılıq ("Separation")[3] a song that has been performed by many singers, such asAli Salimi (who wrote the music), andGoogoosh.[4]
