Fangshan Township (Chinese:枋山鄉;pinyin:Fāngshān Xiāng) is a coastalrural township inPingtung County,Taiwan.
The township comprises the four villages of Fangshan, Fenggang, Jialu and Shanyu.
The township is famous for its Aiwen mangoes, which are exported to Asian countries.[1]
Fangshan is one of the twocable landing points of Taiwan island (the other one isToucheng). Four submarine communication cables, includingC2C andSEA-ME-WE 3, connect here.[citation needed]
Thetownship is served byNeishi Station andJialu Station of theTaiwan RailwaysSouth-Link Line.
