
Falah Hassan al-Naqib (Arabic:فلاح حسن النقيب) is anIraqi politician and was the Minister of Interior under theIraqi Interim Government.
Born in 1956 inSamarra, he is aSunniArab. He trained in theUnited States as a civil engineer. His father, GeneralHassan al-Naqib, defected in the 1970s and became an active opposition member in exile.[1]
An ally of Interim Prime MinisterIyad Allawi, he was named the governor ofSalah ad Din Governorate after the fall ofSaddam Hussein, then he became the Minister of Interior,[2] from 2004 to 2005.
