Faith Michael (néeIkidi; born 28 February 1987) is a Nigerianfootballer who plays as adefender forDamallsvenskan clubPiteå IF and theNigeria women's national team.
Born inPort Harcourt, Ikidi was raised inEdo State.[citation needed]
In 2006, Ikidi was one of three Nigerian players to be the first set of Africans to play in the Swedish Championship while playing forQBIK.[1]
In December 2015, Ikidi signed a two-year extension with Piteå.[2][3]
Ikiri has represented Nigeria on thesenior national team since 2004.[4] In November 2006, she helped the team win its fifthAfrican Women's Championship after defeatingGhana 1–0 in the final.[5]
