Fairview is ahamlet insouthern Alberta, Canada withinLethbridge County.[2] It is adjacent to the eastern boundary ofLethbridge, approximately 0.3 kilometres (0.19 mi) south ofHighway 3. More specifically, it is located on southeast corner ofHighway 4 (43A Street South) andHighway 512 (1 Avenue South).[3]
The Hamlet of Fairview is one of two different communities in Alberta that go by the name ofFairview. TheTown of Fairview innorthern Alberta is the more widely known of the two.[2]
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Fairview had a population of 165 living in 77 of its 82 total private dwellings, a change of7.1% from its 2016 population of 154. With a land area of 0.16 km2 (0.062 sq mi), it had a population density of1,031.3/km2 (2,670.9/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
As a designated place in the2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Fairview had a population of 154 living in 70 of its 81 total private dwellings, a change of-4.9% from its 2011 population of 162. With a land area of 0.16 km2 (0.062 sq mi), it had a population density of962.5/km2 (2,492.9/sq mi) in 2016.[4]
