Fabian Reese (German pronunciation:[ˈfaːbi̯aːnˈʁeːzə]; born 29 November 1997) is a German professionalfootballer who plays as astriker for2. Bundesliga clubHertha BSC.[1]
Reese began with football in the youth ofHolstein Kiel and joined the youth academy (Nachwuchsleistungszentrum) ofSchalke 04 in 2013. He made his debut in professional football on 21 November 2015 on the 14th matchday of the2015–16 Bundesliga againstBayern Munich in a 3–1 home defeat. He replacedMax Meyer after 87 minutes.[2] On 16 February 2016, Reese signed his first professional contract of his young career which would run until 30 June 2019 with Schalke 04.[3]
In January 2018, he joined2. BundesligaGreuther Fürth on loan until the end of the season.[4]
In January 2023, he joinedHertha BSC on a free transfer fromHolstein Kiel.[5]
