TheFIBA U16 EuroBasket, formerly theFIBA U16 European Championship, and originally theFIBA European Championship for Cadets[1][2] is an annual men's youthbasketball competition contested by the under-16 national teams fromFIBA Europe.

The inaugural tournament was in1971, and was held biennially until2003. Since2004, the competition has been played every year. The tournament serves as qualification for theFIBA Under-17 World Cup in odd numbered years. The current champions areSerbia.
