Evelyn Schötz (born 30 June 1961) is a German politician fromDie Linke. In the2025 German federal election, she ran as adirect candidate in theconstituency ofRoth and won a seat in the21st Bundestag by placing fifth on her party's Bavarianstate list.
Before entering theBundestag, Schötz worked as ageriatric nurse. She is also chairwoman of theNuremberg district association of the Left Party.[1]
Evelyn Schötz has been a member of theAssociation of Persecutees of the Nazi Regime – Federation of Antifascists (VVN-BdA) since 1996, a member of the formerPublic Services, Transport and Traffic Union (ÖTV), now United Services Union (ver.di), and the social associationSozialverband VdK Deutschland [de] (VdK).[2]
Schötz is married and has an adult son.[1]
