Eve Thomas (born 9 February 2001) is a representativeswimmer from New Zealand.[1][2] She competed for New Zealand in thewomen's 800 metre freestyle at the2019 World Aquatics Championships.[3] Thomas is the daughter of British swimmerSarah Hardcastle.[4][5]
At the2022 Commonwealth Games, inBirmingham,England, Thomas placed fourth in the800 metre freestyle behind three Australians, includingAriarne Titmus, with whom Thomas shares a coach,Dean Boxall.[6][7][8] In the final of the400 metre freestyle, she finished sixth in a time of 4:09.73.[9]
