TheEure (English:/ɜːr/ur;French pronunciation:[œʁ]ⓘ) is ariver betweenNormandy andCentre-Val de Loire in north-westernFrance, left tributary of theSeine.[1] It is 229 km (142 mi) long.[2] It rises atMarchainville in theOrnedepartment and joins theSeine nearPont-de-l'Arche.[2] Two departments are named after the Eure, namelyEure andEure-et-Loir.
