Eupithecia marginata is amoth in the familyGeometridae. It is found fromCyprus through the northernCaucasus (Daghestan),Armenia,Azerbaijan,Iran,Afghanistan,Uzbekistan,Tajikistan andKyrgyzstan to south-easternKazakhstan (the Tien-Shan Mountains) and north-westernChina (Xinjiang).[2]
