Etkin Armut (born 17 August 1998) is a Dutch politician who was elected member of theHouse of Representatives in 2025.[1] She has been a municipal councillor ofGroningen since 2022.[2]
Armut was born inAssen and grew up inHoogezand.[3] She is ofKurdish descent and her parents are fromsoutheastern Turkey.[4] She studied at theUniversity of Groningen from 2018 to 2024, and received abachelor's degree inhistory and amaster's degree inMiddle Eastern studies.[2] In the2022 municipal elections, she was elected municipal councillor ofGroningen.[5]
