Estradiol salicylate, orestradiol 3-salicylate, is asyntheticestrogen andestrogen ester – specifically, the C3salicylic acidester ofestradiol – which was described in the late 1980s and was never marketed.[1] It is ametabolite ofestradiol acetylsalicylate, which appears to be very rapidlyhydrolyzed into estradiol salicylate.[1]
