Escape from Affluenza is a 1998PBS 56-minutedocumentary film produced as asequel to the 1997 documentaryAffluenza. While the original concentrates onaffluenza—consumerism andmaterialism in modern society—the sequel focuses on how to avoid this.^[1] It looks at stories of how to reducedebt,stress, time-pressure, and possession-overload.^[2]

The cast includesWanda Urbanska as the host and Cecile Andrews, author of "Circle of Simplicity".^[3]
