Esa Pole (born July 4, 2001) is an American professionalfootballoffensive tackle for theKansas City Chiefs of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theChabot Gladiators andWashington State Cougars.
Pole was a standout high schoolbasketball player atMount Eden High School; however, he committed to playcollege football atChabot College despite never playing football before.[1]
During his two year career at Chabot in 2021 and 2022, Pole was a two year starter where he was an unanimous all-conference selection and an All-Region 1 first-teamer.[2]
Pole transferred to play for theWashington State Cougars.[3] In 2023, he made eight starts at left tackle.[4] In 2024, Pole started all 13 games and did not allow any sacks.[5] After the season, he declared for the2025 NFL draft, while also accepting an invite to the 2025East–West Shrine Bowl.[6]

Pole signed with theKansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2025.[9] He was waived on August 26 as part of final roster cuts.[10]
On August 27, 2025, Pole was claimed off waivers by theNew York Jets.[11] He was waived on October 23.[12]
On October 25, 2025, Pole was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad.[13]
His older brother, Toni Pole, previously played as a defensive lineman at Washington State.[6]
