Inland town of ancient Mysia
For the town of Attica, seeLaurium.

Ergasteria (Ancient Greek:Ἐργαστήρια) was an inland town ofancient Mysia on the road fromPergamum toCyzicus, 440stadia from Pergamum. It was noted byGalen as near a source of a metallic substance he calledmolybdaena.[1] It was also known for silver mining in antiquity.[2]

Its site is located nearBalya Maden inAsiatic Turkey.[3][2]
