Eoin Guinan (born 4 February 1986) is an Irishhurler who plays forWestern Australian clubSarsfields. He began his career withSt. Lachtain's and is a former member of theKilkenny senior hurling team.

Career

Born inFreshford,County Kilkenny, Guinan first came to prominence with theSt Lachtain's club that won championship titles in various grades ofGaelic football. He latercaptained the St Lachtain's intermediate hurling team to the2010 All-Ireland Club Championship title.[1] Guinan first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of theKilkenny minor team that won theAll-Ireland Championship title in 2003.[2] He later won consecutiveLeinster Under-21 Championship titles with the under-21 team. Guinan was drafted onto theKilkenny senior hurling team for the2009 Walsh Cup and was a member of the extended panel for much of the following three seasons.[3]
