Enrico Rossi Chauvenet (born 4 June 1984) is an Italianfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper.

Rossi Chauvenet started his career at hometown clubPadova. He also spent 2 seasons atInternazionale'sPrimavera U20 Youth Team where he won the league champion, along withMathieu Moreau asAlex Cordaz's backup.[1] In 2002-03 season, Rossi remained at Primavera team and occasionally played for first team in club friendlies.[2][3][4] That season Rossi competed with Moreau andNathan Coe as first choice, which Rossi played both legs ofCampionato Primavera round of 16,[5][6] while Coe played in quarter-final, semi-final[7] and final,[8] which Inter lost to Lecce. While Moreau played at2003 Torneo di Viareggio. After the season, Rossi Chauvenet returned toPadova and in 2004–05 season asRoberto Colombo's backup.

Lega Pro career

In 2005-06, Rossi Chauvenet left forSerie C2 sideS.S.C. Venezia, which newly re-found to replace bankrupted AC Venezia. He was the backup ofMassimo Lotti along withTiziano Ramon. In the mid-season, he left for Serie B sideVerona on loan, asGianluca Pegolo's backup, along withJess Vanstrattan. In the 2006-07 season, he returned toVenice, asGiuseppe Aprea's backup along with Lotti and in mid-season exchanged withStefano Layeni of Serie C2 sideTorres, where he played asSimone Deliperi's backup.

In the 2007-08 season, he left forMezzocorona where he finally played as first choice, aheadMassimo Macchi, the first choice of last season. In 2008-09 season, he played forPrima Divisione sideMonza, aheadGiacomo Bindi andMatteo Apuzzo as first choice. Since the signing of ex-Dutch internationalsSander Westerveld, Rossi Chauvenet became backup again. In January 2010, he left for fellow third division clubPergocrema,[9][10] ahead young keeperSimone Colombi as first choice since February.

International career

Rossi Chauvenet received his only call-up forItaly U19 in September 2002, asAndrea Ivaldi's backup. The match team-mateAlessandro Potenza also played.[11] He also call-up toSerie C U20 selection for2004–05 Mirop Cup along withLuca Rossettini.[12][13][14]

In 2005, he was called to Italy U21 B team specially for2005 Mediterranean Games and for a preparation match againstSerie D Best XI before the tournament.[15] He played his only match with the team against Libya.[16]
