Enprofylline (3-propylxanthine) is axanthine derivative used in the treatment ofasthma, which acts as abronchodilator. It acts primarily as a competitive nonselectivephosphodiesterase inhibitor with relatively little activity as a nonselectiveadenosine receptor antagonist.[1][2]
