England Korfball Association, also simply known as the EKA, is thegoverning body for thesport ofKorfball in England. Before 2006 known as the British Korfball Association (BKA), it is the Korfball association responsible for overseeing all aspects of the game in its territory.[1] This includes oversight and administration of the Junior andSenior English National Korfball teams,[2][3] of the leagues across England, the highest tier of which is theEngland Korfball League,[4] and of other domestic competitions such as the youth and senior Inter-Area competitions.[5][6][7]
The EKA is a separate national governing body from theScottish,Welsh andIrish Korfball Associations.
