TheEmployment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO)[1] is a configuration of theCouncil of the European Union.[2] It meets four times a year, with two of the meetings focusing onsocial policy andemployment. It is composed of the employment, social affairs, health andconsumer policy ministers from allEU member states.[3]
This council works to improve working conditions and employment levels. At the same time it also ensuresconsumer protection andhuman health within the EU.
