Badobre Emmanuel Elysee Djedje Agbadou (born 17 June 1997) is an Ivorian professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forPremier League clubWolverhampton Wanderers and theIvory Coast national team.[2]

Club career

Monastir

In July 2019, Agbadou signed forUS Monastir. On 25 September 2019, he played his first match againstStade Tunisien in a 1–0 win.[3]

Eupen

On 1 September 2020, Agbadou join Belgian clubEupen.[4] He played his first professional match on 30 October 2020, in a championship match against theGenk, which ended with a 4–0 defeat for his team.

Reims

On 16 June 2022, Agbadou signed a five-year contract withReims in France.[5]

Agbadou plays his first game under his on 7 August 2022, in the first day of the 2022–23 season ofLigue 1, against theMarseille.

On 20 September 2024, Agbadou extended his contract with the Reims by one more season, that is, until June 2028.[6]

Wolverhampton Wanderers

On 9 January 2025, Agbadou signed forPremier League clubWolverhampton Wanderers on a four-and-a-half-year deal for a reported fee of £16.6 million.[7][8]

Agbadou scored his first goal for Wolves in their match againstCrystal Palace on 20 May 2025.[9]

On 1 November 2025, Agbadou was shown a straight red card for foulingJosh King in their 3-0 defeat toFulham and what proved to beVítor Pereira's last game in charge as the next day he was sacked after his team went 10 games without a win in the new season.[10]

International career

Agbadou debuted with theIvory Coast national team in a friendly 3–0 loss toEngland on 29 March 2022.[11]

Agbadou honours his first selection with the Ivory Coast national team on 8 October 2021, in a match againstMalawi. He comes into play in place ofSerge Aurier during this meeting won by his team (0–3 final score).
