Emilio Wálter Álvarez Silva (10 February 1939 – 22 April 2010) was aUruguayanfootballdefender who played forUruguay in the1962 and1966 FIFA World Cups.[1] He also played forClub Nacional de Football.[2][3][4]

He died in 2010, aged 71. His remains are buried atCementerio del Norte, Montevideo.
