TheEmbassy of Chile inWashington, D.C. is thediplomatic mission of theRepublic of Chile to theUnited States. It is located at 1732Massachusetts Avenue,Northwest, Washington, D.C., in theEmbassy Row neighborhood.[1] The embassy has been located there since 1973. The building now occupied by the Chilean Embassy previously housed the Embassy of Bangladesh.
The embassy also operatesConsulates-General inMiami,Los Angeles,San Francisco,Houston,Chicago, andNew York City.[2]
The ambassador isJuan Gabriel Valdés.
The ambassador's residence is located further northwest onEmbassy Row, 2305 Massachusetts Avenue NW. Designed by architectNathan C. Wyeth, the residence has belonged to the Republic of Chile since 1923.
