Elois T. Grooms (born May 20, 1953) is an American former professionalfootballdefensive lineman in theNational Football League (NFL).[1] He was selected by theNew Orleans Saints in the third round of the1975 NFL draft, and he played with the Saints until 1981. Then he played for theSt. Louis Cardinals from 1982 to 1985 and thePhiladelphia Eagles in 1987. He playedcollege football atTennessee Tech.[2] Grooms was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020.
