Elliot G. Jaspin (born May 27, 1946) is aPulitzer Prize-winning Americanjournalist.

Jaspin graduated fromBaldwin Senior High School in 1964 andColby College in 1969.

While writing for thePottsville, PennsylvaniaRepublican & Herald, he won the1979Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting withGilbert M. Gaul for stories on the destruction of the Blue Coal Company by men with ties to organized crime.

In the same year, Jaspin won aScripps Howard FoundationEdward J. Meeman Award and anAmerican Bar AssociationSilver Gavel Award.[1][2]
