Elis (Greek:Επαρχία Ηλείας –Eparchia Ileias) was one of theprovinces of theElis Prefecture. The seat of administration wasPyrgos. Its territory corresponded with that of the current municipalitiesAndravida-Kyllini,Ilida,Olympia,Pineios andPyrgos (except the municipal unitVolakas).^[1] It was abolished in 2006.

The Elis province was subdivided into the following municipalities (situation after the1997 Kapodistrias reform):
