Elis (Greek:Επαρχία ΗλείαςEparchia Ileias) was one of theprovinces of theElis Prefecture. The seat of administration wasPyrgos. Its territory corresponded with that of the current municipalitiesAndravida-Kyllini,Ilida,Olympia,Pineios andPyrgos (except the municipal unitVolakas).[1] It was abolished in 2006.
