Elijah Hicks (born October 16, 1997) is an American professionalfootballsafety for theChicago Bears of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football atCalifornia and was drafted by the Bears in the seventh round of the2022 NFL draft.[1]
Hicks was ranked as a three–star recruit by247Sports.com coming out of high school.[2] He committed toCalifornia on January 10, 2017, over offers fromMichigan,Notre Dame,UCLA, andUSC.[3]

Hicks was drafted by theChicago Bears in the seventh round with the 254th overall pick in the2022 NFL draft.[6] As a rookie, he appeared in 15 games and started two in the 2022 season. He finished with 28 total tackles (15 solo), one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.[7]
