Eldorado Park is a suburb ofSoweto,Johannesburg,South Africa. It is located in Region G of theCity of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. It lies on the southern boundary ofSoweto and prior to 1994, was aColoured township duringApartheid.
In 1965, the land was declared an area for the exclusive settlement of the Coloured South Africans under theGroup Areas Act.[2]: 111 It became part of Johannesburg in 1970.[2]: 111
