Elaeus orElaious (Ancient Greek:Ἐλαιοῦς)[1] orElaios (Ἐλαῖος) was an emporium or trading place on the coast ofBithynia at the mouth of a river of the same name. Elaeus was 120stadia west ofCales.
It is located on the north coast of modernTurkey, at the mouth of its name-sake river.[2][3]
