Eladio Vergara y Vergara (1821–1888) was a Colombian lawyer, folletin writer[1] known for theepic poem"Guerra de Neo-Granada" First introduced in the political magazine "La Matricaria" created by prestigious writerJose Maria Vergara y Vergara, his brother. Eladio was also related by blood to GeneralTomas Cipriano de Mosquera.[2] Served Colombia as Secretary of Finance of the State of Cauca[3][4]
