El Ibrahimiya (Arabic:الأبراهيمية) is a city and amarkaz in theSharqia Governorate,Egypt. It had a population of 57,546[2] in the city and 201,910 in the whole markaz according to 2023 estimates. The city is named afterIbrahim Pasha of Egypt and has grown out of an agricultural village.
The city is located in the Nile Delta within theSharqia Governorate. It lies north ofZagazig andHihya and is surrounded by agricultural land.[citation needed]
