Eesha Rebba (born 19 April 1990[1]) is an Indian actress who predominantly works inTelugu films. She is known for her roles inAnthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha (2013),Bandipotu (2015),Ami Thumi (2017) andAwe (2018).

Early life

Eesha Rebba was born in aTelugu family inWarangal,[2] and was brought up inHyderabad.[2] She holds anMBA. Rebba worked as a model during college, after which she received an audition call from directorMohana Krishna Indraganti.[1]

Career

Rebba made her debut in 2012 with the filmLife Is Beautiful. She then made her first appearance in a lead role in the filmAnthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha. The film was successful at the box office and was nominated for Best Film at the International Indian Film festival inSouth Africa.[3]

Her performance in the romantic-comedy filmAmi Thumi received wide response and fetched her two awards.[4][5] Rebba played alesbian character in the filmAwe (2018). Critics praised her performance in the film.[6][7] Later the same year, she had four other filmsBrand Babu,Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava,Subrahmanyapuram andSavyasachi. She made herMalayalam cinema debut in 2021 with the bilingual filmOttu.[8] She learnedarchery andkickboxing for her role in the film.[9]
