Edwin Gyimah (born 9 March 1991) is a Ghanaian professionalfootballer who plays as adefender andmidfielder. He was capped for theGhana national football team.[1]
Gyimah was born inSekondi-Takoradi.[2] Before joiningSuperSport United in 2011, Gyimah played forAll Stars andSekondi Hasaacas in his home country.[3] Gyimah left SuperSport in 2015 after 1 goal in 53 games, a spell that also included a loan toMpumalanga Black Aces.[1] After leaving SuperSport, he joinedOrlando Pirates.[1] Two years and 30 appearances followed before Gyimah left the club by mutual consent on 16 February 2017.[4] He went on to play one season withHelsingborg inSuperettan, the Swedish second tier, before returning to South Africa andBidvest Wits in early 2018.[5]
He was released bySekhukhune United in the summer of 2024.[6]
He made his international debut forGhana in 2012.[7]
