Edwin Cook

Edwin Arthur Cook (9 July 1888 – 15 September 1972) wasArchdeacon of Bath from 1947[1] to 1962.

Cook was educated atMaidstone Grammar School,Queens' College, Cambridge andRidley Hall, Cambridge. After acuracy at Holy Trinity,Margate he was aCMS Missionary in Western China until 1926.[2] After that he heldincumbencies inDover,Margate andFolkestone.[3] He was Rector ofBath Abbey from 1947 to 1960.
