Edmund Grainger (1906–1981) was an Americanfilm producer.[1] He produced more than sixty films during his career, and also occasionally worked as anassistant director. During the 1930s he was employed byUniversal Pictures. He worked forRKO duringHoward Hughes' ownership of the studio.
Grainger was the son of James D. Grainger, a film executive who worked for a variety of companies from thesilent era onwards.[2]
