Kosovo–Timor-Leste relations are the bilateral relations betweenKosovo andTimor-Leste.
Timor-Leste recognized Kosovo as an independent, sovereign state on 20 September 2012.[1][2] The two states established formaldiplomatic relations on 9 March 2022.[3][4][5][6]
Both countries have previously been underUnited Nationsadministration,East Timor between 1999 and 2002 andKosovo between 1999 and unilaterally declaring independence in 2008.
Kosovo is represented in Timor-Leste by a non-resident ambassador based inCanberra,Australia.[7][8][9]
