ETAS GmbH, founded in 1994, is a one hundred percentsubsidiary ofRobert Bosch GmbH that has international subsidiaries and sales offices inFrance, theUnited States,Canada,China,Japan, theUnited Kingdom,India,Korea,Brazil,Sweden,Italy, and theRussian Federation. In 2003, the ETAS Group was formed by the merger of the Boschsubsidiary[4] ETAS GmbH; LiveDevices Ltd.,York,United Kingdom; and Vetronix Corporation,Santa Barbara, California,United States. The company'sheadquarters is located inStuttgart, Germany. ETAS providesautomakers, theirsuppliers, engineering service providers, and other customers with tools forembedded systems. These includedevelopment tools (in the form of bothsoftware andhardware) forECUs used inpassenger cars andtrucks, as well was engineering services, consulting, training, and support.
