Edward Brian DaviesFRS (born 13 June 1944) is a former professor of Mathematics,King's College London (1981–2010), and is the author of thepopular science bookScience in the Looking Glass: What do Scientists Really Know.[2] In 2010, he was awarded aGauss Lecture by theGerman Mathematical Society.[3]
