Dylan Marie Dreyer (born August 2, 1981)[1] is an American televisionmeteorologist working forNBC News. She is also an anchor on Today's 3rd Hour. Dreyer frequently appears onToday on weekdays as a weather correspondent and as a fill-in forAl Roker andCarson Daly. She also appears onThe Weather Channel and onNBC Nightly News. Dreyer joined NBC News in September 2012 after having worked at the now former NBC stationWHDH inBoston, Massachusetts, since 2007.
Dreyer was in a car crash while en route to cover a blizzard forToday on February 9, 2013, she suffered a mild concussion.[7]
In addition to her meteorological duties, Dreyer is the host of the NBC educational nature programEarth Odyssey with Dylan Dreyer[8] broadcast onThe More You Know block of programming onNBC.
Dreyer marriedNBC News producer and cameraman Brian Fichera in 2012.[11] They live in the New York area,[12] and have three children.[13][14][15] In July 2025, Dreyer announced that she and Fichera had separated a few months earlier, stating they would continue to co-parent their three children with mutual respect and friendship.[16]
