Dvorovoy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Slavic spirit

TheDvorovoy (Russian:Дворовой) is aSlavic spirit of the courtyard. It was associated with a farmstead's grounds, cattle shed, and stable.[1] The dvorovoy is similar to the house spiritdomovoi, though it is less benevolent.[2] A dvorovoy is considered more dangerous than a domovoi as it could pose a threat tolivestock, particularly animals with white fur.[1][2]
